Placed my order on the 12th of July and I am STILL waiting to get my glasses. Last time I phoned (28th August) they claimed that their supplier has been shut the previous 14 days, despite them emailing me the week before telling me they had chased their supplier up and I should have them the following week.

Just tried calling them again at 4.40pm today to further chase my order up to find that EVERY phone number and EVERY option on each number is ringing out. Clearly they are all away home and cant be bothered to deal with their customers despite claiming to be open until 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

To put a cherry on top, they still have my £133.50 in their bank account gathering interest and I am both out of pocket and without glasses that I should have received within 28days. It has now been FIFTY FOUR days since I placed my order.

Can&#039;t wait to get a hold of someone on the phone on Monday, thats if they can actually be arsed answering the phone.</description>

		<description>i would recommend this company.  i received my glasses quickly and although i had to return them as the prescription details were entered incorrectly, i received excellent customer service and reasuring emails.  my glasses arrived quickly and beautifully packaged.

i am very, very pleased.</description>

Order 3xpairs of glasses on 20th July. the first pair arrived 2 wks later.
On Saturday 15th August the next pair arrived - one lens was falling out of the frame and the other had a scratch/mark on the lens and also very slack in the frame. These glasses were sent back the following Monday 17th. The phone calls then started to the Company- chasing the 3rd pair and the date for the return of the faulty glasses. Excuse after excuse - ranging from sent out already to &#039;will be leaving on Friday 21st (both pairs)&#039;. No e- mails have ever been answered and the phone has been put down on my husband on several occasions! The final pair arrived today - the 24th. However we were told that both pairs would definitely be sent out on the 21st (the new lens had arrived that morning)and after yet another call today we have now been told that they are still waiting for the lens!! Looking at the post mark the glasses were sent out on Saturday 22nd but the lady who answered the phone stated that they NEVER send anything out on a Saturday and when my husband argued this point she once again put the phone down.

Trading standards is the next port of call.</description>

After 6 weeks they tell me it still hasn&#039;t arrived so must have got lost in the post.  If that&#039;s the case it&#039;s not their fault, but  I&#039;m suspicious because each time I&#039;ve called I&#039;m given  a different story, they don&#039;t reply to emails, and the feeling I&#039;m left with is that they just don&#039;t care.
now I have lost my NHS voucher, can&#039;t get a replacement and therefore am out of pocket.
I&#039;ve cancelled my order with them and certainly would advise anybody else not to go near them</description>

Hi,
I&#039;ve had a terrible experience with wantglasses.co.uk. They are a completely rogue company so beware and realise from their shoddy looking website DO NOT USE!

In summary I ordered some glasses 7 weeks ago and these were clearly advertised on their website. Customer services emailed me the next day saying they had been discontinued (despite still advertising them!).

I said no worries. They had already charged my Mastercard £149.00 (by the next day!) so I asked for a refund. It has now been 7 weeks and despite 4 emails and numerous promises, they have now stopped responding to my emails and I ahve had to log this with Mastercard to apply for a refund.

Appalling service and company.</description>

Endless stream of excuses and unkept promises from them. Have now applied for a chargeback via my credit card company and would encourage others to do the same.</description>
